Now that the disclaimer is done Welcome to the Odds and Ends Corner Blog. This is the first post and this blog is a learning process for me. As such please excuse any mistakes I may make. This space is being provided to provide information as well as a place for open discussion on topics related to crystals, crystal energies, and related metaphysical matters. Shungite is among our favorite crystals and we believe it is deserving to be our first post. Shungite is considered by many to be one of the best finds of the new age. It is approximately 2 billion years old and it hails from Russia. The diversity of its’ metaphysical properties and uses are still being discovered and researched.
Shungite is a stone of incomparable healing properties. The healing properties of Shungite have been documented in Russia since the 1700s and it’s anti bacterial properties have been confirmed by modern testing. These strong antibacterial and healing properties are believed to neutralize any organism within your body that is harmful to you. In addition, Shungite is considered an excellent source of protection from harmful electro magnetic radiation. Metaphysically Shungite is believed to infuse the auric field with light. Water that’s had Shungite put in it is believed to become biologically active within a 48 hour period. Metaphysically Shungite is claimed to infuse the auric field with light and to allow only positive and beneficial energy to reach you.
Due to it’s healing and antibacterial properties Shungite is often being referred to as the “Stone of Life” . Many people use Shungite to create a healing spa in the home by placing it in some water to purify and charge the water with cleansing energy. Shungite purifies, protects, normalizes, induces recovery and promotes growth in living organisms. I personally have used Shungite to treat my allergies and a reoccuring skin condition with our cats by making gem water (through an indirect method with Shungite elite). I have also utilized it in energy work for a wide array of issues including arthritis, cancer, MS, fibro myalgia, and bipolorism
