EMERALD

The Emerald is the sacred stone of the goddess Venus and is a stone of great harmony, wisdom and love. It enhances unconditional love, unity and promotes friendship. The Emerald has long been the symbol of hope. It is considered by many to be a stone of prophecy as it enhances  psychic abilities and raises consciousness.   It is believed to bring the wearer reason and wisdom.  It instills harmony in all areas of ones life by enhancing physical, emotional, and mental equilibrium. Emerald stimulates the Heart Chakra and aids in healing the physical and emotional heart. Emerald aids in enhancing focus in ones actions as well as strengthening memory and bestows clarity of thought.       It is believed to detoxify negativity and transform it to positive energy. The power of the Emerald is highest at the full moon. 

Emerald has traditionally been used by healers to treat disorders associated with the cardiovascular, skeletal, and muscular systems, the kidneys, the lungs, the adrenal glands, as well as ailments of the eye, and skin.  It is also believed to possess strong cleansing properties that aid in preventing infection and disease.
